Morganfield's Restaurant - The Star Vista

Morganfield's resturant known for its signature dish - Sticky Bones, is located at 'The Star Vista'. Over the past 6 months, they have been making Singapore BBQ ribs lovers smile with happiness. AND that inclusive of me as well after trying it during the food tasting session last week.

To me, dining in this restaurant brings me a very relaxed feeling which I think that it is a great place to unwind after a long day work to enjoy or even celebrate with friends and family.

Let's start ~

Lobster Bisque - $9.90

Rich and creamy lobster bisque served with toasted baguette slices brings many 'thumbs up' when served. It has a really strong shellfish flavour which some people might not be able to take it.

Mushroom Soup - $8.90

Fresh homemade mushroom soup has always been the favourite for many people and is definitely one of the highlight among the bloggers that night. It consists of generous amount of mushroom chunks and the texture was just right for me too.

Summer Salad $15.90

Have you ever seen watermelon chunks tossed in a bowl of greens? This is my first time seeing it and I feel that it's definitely a great combination - juicy (watermelon) and crunchy (vegetables). It consists of watermelon chunks, cucumber, tomatoes, mixed lettuce, Kalamata olives, Manzanlilla olives, Feta cheese, sundried tomatoes and served with summer dressing.

I feel so healthy just by eating it!

Pop Corn Pork $8.90

This pork cubes is marinated with Morganfield's secret spice mix. By dipping the pork cubes into their homemade Garlic Aioli and BBQ Ranch sauce, you will definitely crave for more. If you like popcorn chicken then you will also fall in love with this as well.

Grilled Vegetable Sandwich $19.90

This grilled vegetable sandwich is also one of my favourite. When I took a small bite of the sandwich, it excites my tastebuds. Yummy!

The ingredients include grilled peppers, zucchini, mushrooms, Cheddar and Feta cheese sandwiched in between crispy grilled Panini Bread. Served with French Fries.

Pan Fried Sea Bass $26.90

Don't really feel like eating chicken or pork today ? You can also opt for fish as the main course. The pan fried sea bass fillet is topped with Hollandaise sauce. Pilaf rice that is slightly scented with herbs and spices tastes so much like chicken rice.

Herb Roasted Chicken $21.90

This soft and tender roasted chicken is marinated with their special blend of herbs and yoghurt. As for the sides, they have red skin mashed potatoes and garden veggies. I was also surprised that their mashed potatoes are in chunks which acts on to the extra bites. I LIKE.

And now I'm going to share with you their 3 sumptuous of Morganfield's platter that are perfect for 3- 4 persons.

1. Ocean Feast $113.90

• Choice of any 1 full slab of our signature Sticky BonesTM

flavors (Hickory BBQ, Tuscan Baked Spicy, Smoked Peppercorn or Garlic BBQ)

• Beer-Battered Fish Fillets

• Tequila Grilled Prawns

• Grilled Sausages

• Garden Salad

• Grilled Corn on Cob

• Free Chocolate Lava Cake

When this platter was served, everyone was taken aback on how big the portion. The ribs are so tender ~

2. Morgan’s Rib Sampler $116.90

• Choice of any 3 half slabs of our signature Sticky BonesTM

flavors (Hickory BBQ, Tuscan Baked Spicy, Smoked Peppercorn or Garlic BBQ)

• Grilled Sausages

• Garden Salad

• Grilled Corn on Cob

• Corn Bread

• French Fries

• Free Chocolate Lava Cake

3. The Carnivore $89.90

• Choice of any 1 full slab of our signature Sticky BonesTM

flavors (Hickory BBQ, Tuscan Baked Spicy, Smoked Peppercorn or Garlic BBQ)

• Choice of any ½Roast Chicken

(Herb Roasted, Tequila Spiked, Honey Stung or BBQ)

• Grilled Sausages

• Garden Salad

• Grilled Corn on Cob

• Corn Bread

• French Fries

• Free Chocolate Lava Cake

It's really a meat party on that night. If you are a person who love meat alot, I'm sure your eyes will gonna be brightened up by looking at all the 'meat'.

Lastly, to end the meal with my favouite dessert ' LAVA Cake'
