Attended a private screening on 3rd January 2014 for two new food-related Channel U shows at Swatow restaurant where we had the chance to preview the first episode for both productions. Thanks Channel U for the invitation and I enjoyed myself that night with other bloggers.

Served H.O.T cast includes Ya Hui 雅慧, Aloysius Pang 冯伟衷, Ian Fang 方伟杰, Shane Pow 包勋评, Chew Chor Meng 周初明, Zhu Houren 朱厚任 and Lee Teng 李腾

A Taste of History hosted by Bryan Wong
The event was hosted by Bryan Wong who makes the atmosphere over there even more lively. All the cast were given a chance to talk about their show and their experiences during filming.
During the interview with Lee Teng asking him the difference between hosting and acting. He mentioned that acting can try out on different emotion which he seldom will show it in the real life. So above is a short clip by Ya Hui and Lee Teng.

After the sumptuous 7 dinner course, Ya Hui 雅慧, Aloysius Pang 冯伟衷, Ian Fang 方伟杰, Shane Pow 包勋评 and Lee Teng 李腾 went to their allocated 3 tables to wrap popiah and the winner goes to Ya Hui.

A Taste of History《寻味地图》

A taste of history hosted by Bryan Wong will airs on Channel U on January 7 at 8pm. It is a nostalgic documentary which he will be tracing the heritage of local traditional foods around Singapore.

While looking at the first episode (history of Katong), I'm actually drooling at the  foods that was being screened and in fact I'm still eating the foods that were served on that day as well.

I can't wait to see all the episodes to have a better understanding of the different distinctive dialect group's traditional food. AWESOME!
