Tan Yu (探鱼) located at 313 Somerset specializes in many different types of grilled fish dishes. Together with my girlfriends we decided to proceed there for our lunch on Saturday and surprisingly there was no queue, we took our queue number and less than 10 minutes we were asked to enter the restaurant after ordering.

As you entered in, the design of the interior is very modern not like other Chinese restaurant. 

To be honest , when I looked at the menu , it was a little confusing so we approached the staff for help. We ordered their signature fish dishes (Chongqing Grilled Fish with Beancurd) and chose Limbo Fish. For side dishes , we order the Golden Combination ($10.90) which comprises of Potato, Crab sticks, Golden Mushrooms and Lotus Root as well as Fried Man tou with condensed milk. In additional, warm barley drink as well. 

Fried Man Tou not very oily and goes pretty well with condensed milk. Alternately, you can eat the man tou by dipping it on the soup of the grilled fish you ordered. 

Finally a while later, our Chongqing Grilled Fish with Beancurd arrived steaming hot. When I first looked at it, my first thought was spicy. Indeed , this Chongqing grilled lambo fish was spicy but more of a numb to me.  I just felt that my lip was applying red lipstick. The side ingredients as shown above was decent , you can't go wrong with the mala spicy sauce.
