If you are travelling to Osaka, Cup Noodles Museum is a place not to miss. This place was opened by the Nissin Food Company, whose founder invented instant ramen noodles in 1958 as a fast and convenient food. The museum is located in Ikeda in Osaka and is within walking distance of Ikeda Station on the Hankyu-Takarazuka Line. Admission is free.

As you walked into the museum, you will be greeted by their friendly staff who know how to speak in English, Chinese to assist you. In this museum, there is also a small place where a short film will introduce the history of instant noodles and also a huge wall of instant ramen boxes display from around the world.

It offers an interactive exhibition to show the exploits of the father of instant ramen.

My main purpose of visiting the museum is to D.I.Y my own Cupnoodles :) But, before I talked more about it, there are also a 90 minutes Chicken Ramen workshop for you to make  your own noodles scratch and costs 500yen. Do remember to make advance reservation if you intend to do it. If not just follow me to design your own cup noodle.

We purchased the cup noodle from the vending machine at a cost of 300yen and before we begin our art work, we started by sterilizing our hands first.

All the cup has a lid to keep its contents clean. Check out above what I drew :)

After you are done with the drawing, proceed to the counter to fill up the content inside.  And of course, the first part will be the instant noodle. You will require to turn the handle of the machine and put the noodles into your own customized cup.

We also get to choose the type of soup flavors and 4 toppings.

Tada~ I'm done with my own personal cup noodle.
