Osaka - an interesting city with friendly people, great food, affordable beauty products and of course great sights for a holiday.

Take a look below to check out what you can do on your oncoming trip to Osaka :

1. Stroll through Dotonbori
If you have friends who already went to Osaka, the first thing they would recommend and not to miss out will surely be Dontonbori.  This a place with extravagant signage, enormous different types of restaurants and gaudy neon lights. This is a place that you can enjoy many different types of food such as Takoyaki , Kyoza, Sushi and many many more.

2. Enjoy sushi @ 100Yen
Usually, Sushi has been pretty expensive but over in the past years, I believe you can get to see many affordable sushi restaurants. Over in Osaka is also not surprising as there are also many many Sushi restaurants now offering decent quality Sushi dishes at only 100 yen (~ SGD 1.22) per plate and mostly in conveyor belt style just like the photo above.

3. Explore Osaka Castle
Do spend your time strolling around Osaka castle to enjoy the environment as well as learning all the history of the castle. The castle tower is now very modern in the inside and there are also elevator for tourist for easier accessibility.

5. Cup Noodles Museum
Cup Noodles Museum - a fun and interactive museum where there are exhibits and hands on workshops. The most interesting part is to design you own cup noodle contents by decorating your own cup and selecting your sauce flavour and toppings. This 300 yen cup noodle is one of the best souvenir option.

6. Stroll in Minoo Park
Minoo Park is a forested velley and is one of the best places to check out the natural setting. Recommend to go during second half of November. From the starting point to the end (fountain) will take you about an hour to stroll. I would recommend to wear a comfortable shoes as there are some uneven paths and steps to climb up to. But, if you want some great exercise and fresh air, this is a place that you are looking for!

7. Take a selfie with the Owl
If you are looking to take a selfie with owl, do head down to one of the shop in Osaka such as Lucky Owl Cafe. With a 1 hour time limit, do walk around to see the live owls and you can also stroke their beaks gently for those friendly owls.

9.Enjoy fresh seafood @ Kuromon ichiban Market
Kuromon Ichiba Market is a great location to wander around to enjoy the food and culture among all the tourists. I love the seafood over there especially the scallop was unbelievable delicious seasoned with butter and soy sauce. You can come over here during 10am to enjoy some food before you go for your lunch.
