Excited to try out the 'Scan to Pay' function using DBS Paylah so together with my husband we went to Maxwell Food Centre for our dinner. We are really excited because we can simply use our mobile phones to pay for our meals. Unfortunately, the cashless payment option in Maxwell Food Centre does not include all the stalls.
Before you start to try out, you have to top up (link from your POSB / DBS account) to your DBS Paylah. As shown above, under the wallet balance will indicate the amount left.
Our first stop - China Street Fritters.
How to begin? After ordering the food that we wanted , we simply scan the code displayed at stalls then key in the amount to be paid.
Tada ~ It's pretty simple and easy to use.
Second stop - Kitchen Mafia
After walking around to search for other food, we then decided to try out western food (fish & chips) and satay.
And of course the third stop is to thresh our thirst - Sugarcane drink
In additional, I like the fact that I am able to track the amount I spent by clicking on the history. I totally like the idea that I no need to dig out my coins to find the amount that is require.
