6D5N TAIWAN ITINERARY - TAICHUNG TO CINGJING DAY 2

  • Sunmoon  Lake and Cingjing Day tour with Klook
DAY 2 - TAICHUNG TO CINGJING (KLOOKSG) 01.01.2020
Bought the day tour tickets at the cost of SGD47.19 per person from KLOOK. They will inform you of the timing to meet and car plate number through Wechat Group or Whatsapp.  As 01 Jan 2020 is a public holiday, the timing to meet at Feng Chia district Mcdonalds is arranged earlier, therefore, we had an early breakfast at around 7:15 am in the hotel. 

Sat the van around 08:05 am and off we proceeded to our adventure~

#1 Boat ride to Sunmoon Lake 

Took 09:00 am boat ride to tour around Sun Moon Lake (Xuanguang and Ita Thao Lta) and returned back to the first destination by taking the 12:00 pm boat ride from Ita Thao Lta.


Reached the first destination and as recommended by Driver JC, we bought 2 Ah Ma Cha Ye Dan to eat. It tasted quite nice :) Nothing much at Xuanguang port, we decide to take the earlier boat to the next port.

There were much more things to see at the second port (Ita Thao Lta) and we bought deep-fried food (wrapped with mushroom , cabbage and vermicelli) to eat as well as black tea egg rolls to bring back Singapore. We spent about an hour walking around , sitting down enjoying music before we took a boat ride back.

2# The Old England 
 Stopped here for a while to take some photos.


3# Cingjing Farm and Skyline 

As the tour package did not include the tickets, we purchased a bundle (Cingjing farm + Skyline) at the counter for NT$220.

Went in at around 2 pm to catch 2:30 pm animal show. I will suggest to reserve a seat 30 minutes earlier before the showtime to get a good seat.


3:10pm : We decided to walk the Skyline and it took us about 40 minutes to reach the ending point. After these, JC (driver) drove us back to Fengjia Mcdonalds and then we ended our day.
