By renee - May 27, 2014

Hi people, have you read my post on Day 1 2014 Korea trip?

Today I'm going to share with you what you can do in JEJU ISLAND.

Jeju island, is an oval-shaped volcanic island spanning 73km off the southern coast of South Korea. This island is created from volcanic eruptions.
1. HELLO KITTY ISLAND @ JEJU

There are 3 storeys high at HELLO KITTY ISLAND.

Entry ticket for adult is KRW 12,000 and children is KRW 9000.
Their operating hours will be
June to August : 09:00 to 20:00
September to May : 09:00 to 18:00

I'm taking with the HELLO KITTY FAMILY. I know you're going to envy me (: I would highly recommend you guys to come over to Hello Kitty Island if you are really one of their fans.

Hello kitty packaging for your birthday every year? PERFECT!

Look at my cute parents.
They look like they are having a marriage ceremony over at Hello Kitty Island:p
You can even purchase your favourite Hello Kitty over at their gift shop. We bought a Hello Kitty luggage for my aunt which cost us about  $150 which we feel is quite worth it.  *ps: Didn't manage to take a picture of it.

Let's proceed to living room  . . .

 Hello kitty Kitchen

Up at level 2, you can enjoy yourself with coffee & Dessert at Hello Kitty Cafe.
Hello kitty Bedroom

I'm sure after going to Hello Kitty Island, you are going to like this character. It is in the southern tip of Jeju Island which is newly opened and I highly recommend for families with children to enjoy themselves with 3D animation theater, playground, drawing.
2. Horse riding

I totally love it! Gallop ... Gallop ... Gallop
3. 3D Trick Art Museum

2381 Seong-eup-ri, Pyoseon-myeon,  JejuJeju-do 699-912South Korea
You will have lots of fun taking pictures at 3D Trick Art. Be creative!

There are so many 3D arts over there to play with and above
are just only a few of them.
4. Seongeup Folk Village
Over at Seongeup Folk Village, you can get to know the unique culture and tradition of Jeju Island.
Before we entered into the village, the guided tour explained the use of the fences in the villages. When you see one bar - " owner of the house will be back in a while", two bars -" the owner will be out for the entire day", three bars - the owner will be out of the house for quite a long time". Interesting?

Hello Black Pig!

In the past, women are pretty tough. They worked and took care of their own children all by their own without the help from their husband.

5. Seongsan Sunrise Peak's
Seongsan, meaning "castle hill" in korean, comes from its sloping form that resemble a grand castle. A place to spot the sunrise, and is thus known as Seongsan IIchulbong (sunrise). If you can, walk up to the hill top to have a perfect spot.

You can even get to eat Fresh Seafoods - oysters , octopus by using different cooking methods - boil, fry, bbq or even eat raw. In addition, there are also few souvenir shops nearby - I bought my keychain at 11 for KWR 10,000 with 1 free.

Hope you have fun looking at my pictures and you should go to JEJU ISLAND one day.

Thanks for reading. XOXO
