YAY! WE GOTTEN OUR FLAT~
This is our second time applying it. Initially we applied for Punggol Waterway Cascadia and we decided to drop out because of few units left. After about 1 month, we decided to try again and put in $10 for Compassvale Mast and Rivervale Delta. Anyway we gotten our number 1085 which is out of 928 units for Compassvale Mast and 884 units for Rivervale Delta. Our initial plan was to get the Compassvale Mast as it is so near to Sengkang Mrt train station and shopping center. For those who have good queue number will be beneficial as they are allowed to choose between Compassvale Mast and Rivervale Delta.

Rivervale Delta

Compassvale Mast

As our number was really bad, Compassvale Mast only left with few units. So we decided to get the Rivervale Delta instead. There are still many units left and we got a unit at Level 17. Rivervale Delta is still not too bad with a small shopping mall and LRT as well as school around too.

For those who are just applying or thinking of applying for flat. Here are some of the procedures from my account. Hope it may help you.

22 November 2012 - Ballot: We applied Compassvale Mast and Rivervale Delta. A very easy online transaction to submit a ballot which will take about 10 minutes to complete the submission.

8th Jan 2013 - Results: Gotten the date and queue number for our selection. You may also proceed to My HDBPage and login your singpass to check for any information.

After you have gotten your selection date, I would suggest you to search for your flat Facebook Page. It is very useful as the admin person of the group and those who joined would upload the status of the queue number, the progress of construction site and more. If you faced any difficulties, they are more than willing to help it out as well. All my neighbours are so friendly and they even suggested for a gathering once we gotten our keys. HAHA!

April 2013 - Before our selection, we receive the brochures and pricing details. As this is our first time choosing our flat, we went to a temple to seek for help on which floor and unit should we take.

2 May 2013 (2.30pm) - Selection date: This is our first time applying for flat so we does not know where to register and ended up missed our number for selecting the flat. Initially, we queued up at the registration counter and explained to the guy of why we missed our number and ended up he gave us a number which is far behind. We were puzzled and decided to ask another staff and luckily she helped us and we managed to go in the office earlier to choose our flat.

In order to select the apartment of our choice, we had to make a payment of $2000 as the option fee. Then she asked us if we would like to opt in for the flooring and doors, and we agreed. There are many documents to sign and we applied for AHG as our monthly gross is below $5k as I'm still a full-time student at that time. The whole process took about 15 - 20 minutes and now we are the owner of Rivervale Delta.

What to bring:
1. Identity cards
2. Payslips
3. Marriage Certification (if you have)
4. Option fee ($1000 for 3 rooms, $2000 option fee for 4 rooms/5rooms. They can be paid by Cash/Nets and will be refunded after making the first deposit.

* Do remember to check your flat general specification so you will be able to go Toa Payoh Hub to check whether the flooring is it suit your liking.

Now I will be patiently waiting to go for my 2nd appointment. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me and I hope I can help (:
